GED also provides sample tests online or in libraries, that home schooled students can use in pretty much the same way pop quizzes are provided in traditional educational settings to prepare them for the “big” exam. Moreover, just like their conventional high school counterparts, GED testers are also required to answer opinion essays, and watch out for their grammar. In no way are registered GED takers mollycoddled or cut some slack with regard to actual tests. The only difference is, while teachers and school counselors actually “spoon feed” their students what they need to brush up on, home schooled students can chart their own progress and identify problem areas they need to focus more attention on. There are so many GED resources and books coming out that there will not be any lack of material to help anyone get into college. Or rather, “GED” into college.
