Founded in the year 1994 CompuHigh Online High School is the world’s first self proclaimed online school for higher education. CompuHigh Online High School has as many as 38 courses to offer across two major streams: Science and Humanities and also physical education to some extent. Students can either opt for full degree courses or just diplomas; the only constraint being that they must be opting for courses or classes IX to XII. Probably the most distinctive feature of the Christa McAuliffe Academy is that it is partnered with the public school system – this in an effort to afford the student with more alternatives to complete course credits. This seldom occurs in the industry; either a school is traditional or it is web-based, with nothing in between. CMA breaks boundaries by conducting classes within public schools, through onsite laboratories which are sometimes offered to homeschooled students as outreach programs. Allied National High School has every reason to take pride in its credentials – it is accredited by two organizations, one is regionally-recognized, and the other from the more extensive national level. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges, just one of the six accrediting associations which evaluate and grant accreditation on the regional level, awarded the school with accreditation (albeit for an interim term); similarly, the Distance Education and Training Council, a national accrediting organization, also recognized Allied National High School as up to par with federal standards of education. Either way you look at it, it seems that the school has everything going for it in order to gain credibility in the online education industry.

You might even have your children signed up for an online high school institution right now, and they are probably reaping the benefits of a different method of education, with improved grades and a heightened interest in lessons.
